The Leher Bow is a handmade piece designed to add vibrant elegance to your Navaratri celebrations. Its intricate traditional embroidery, highlighted by colourful threads and mirror accents, ensures you stand out at every Garba and Dandiya night.
Waves of Colour, Stitched by Hand
Leher means wave, and the name fits. Swirling motifs in red, yellow, green, blue and pink run across a deep black base, each curve outlined in fine white thread. Round mirrors are set into the pattern by hand so they catch the light as you move, and the centre is finished with a woven multicolour band that pulls the whole piece together.
Cowrie Shells That Move With You
A row of cowrie shells hangs along the lower edge, strung on tiny silver beads. They sway with every turn, giving the bow a gentle rhythm on the dance floor and a lovely detail in photographs.
Handmade by Oh Kittu
Every Leher Bow is stitched by hand in our small studio, so no two are exactly alike. The embroidery takes time, the mirrors are placed one at a time, and each shell is knotted individually. It is a slower way to work, and it is what makes the bow worth keeping long after the festival ends.
